Even though essential oils were used in ancient skincare routines they have recently been rediscovered by healthcare practitioners and skincare experts. And while you might think of several MLMs when you hear essential oils, at Truth By Nature we only use the tried and true classics of essential oils in our skincare products!

We have also picked the essential oils we use for very particular reasons such as soothing inflammation, healing acne, fading scars, and cleansing while moisturising.

Our scented products are fragranced using pure essentials oils, which means you can experience full aromatic bliss without the stress of skin irritating perfumes!

What are Essential Oils?

Essential oils are simply the extract from plants like flowers and herbs, some are used in aromatherapy, others have properties that can help target various skin concerns.

You should be cautious when using essential oils however, as some can cause skin irritation. Dr. Rachel Nazarian of Schweiger Dermatology Group says it is important to use products that have diluted essential oils in a carrier oil such as argan oil, grape seed oil, or jojoba oil – all of which Truth By Nature use as carrier oils in our products, as well as jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, rice bran oil, and cocoa butter.
